Hello November

We had a great Halloween!  I decided that it would be superfragilist—I have no clue how to spell that, so, I thought it’d be super fun to surprise Brooke as she got off the bus from school.  Since it was pouring anyway, I put on my Mary Poppins costume.  She. About. Died.  She didn’t know it was me at first, she thought, “Who is that lady?!” Then realized it was Mommy AS Mary Poppins.  She just kept laughing and telling me how much she enjoyed it last night.  It was totally worth putting in that little effort to make her smile.

I actually had this shirt in my closet from Banana Republic.  I scooped this skirt up at Marshalls forever ago, it was a Vince Camuto find.  I threw on a pair of black tights and wore some black booties (similar here) for this look.  I was definitely wearing rubber rain boots later on though.  I thought my Stella & Dot Getaway Bag was the perfect touch too! The hat I found on Amazon as well as the bow-tie.

My crazy lil ninja.

I feel like I looked as though I was ready to go to work as a waitress too.  I used a lighter Bare Minerals liquid foundation and just a super pink blush, no bronzer, to give me that porcelain look.  I used Lipsense in Candy Cane. Oh, and I finally got a new tube of Epic Mascara.  It still is hands down my FAVORITE EVER!!

Just a spoonful of sugar.

I tried this fine Cab with our pizza and boneless wings for dinner.  Yum!

The kiddos wanted to bake football cookies since the 49ers played (and won!) Thursday Night Football.

My dad and step-mom came over and Brooke was having fun with the phone.

Papa was capturing her and the glow-sticks.

We were so happy they could come by, have dinner, help pass out candy and see the kids trick-or-treat.  They left me a treat by folding some laundry—#winning Thank you again!

Papa in the mask!

The kids wanted to trick-or-treat with the neighbors this year, so we all got together.  I cannot believe how many houses we made it to!  Bradley did great keeping up, and the big kids did great at slowing down for him.  We all got wet, but it was warm so it really wasn’t that bad!
