Fall Fun at Hunsader Farms – Grateful for Every Pumpkin & Pretzel

After the whirlwind that was Hurricanes Helene and Milton, which left parts of Florida devastated, we felt incredibly grateful to see Hunsader Farms open their gates this fall. This farm has become a bit of a tradition for us, but this year felt extra special, like we were all breathing a little easier just being there. It was the perfect reminder of the resilience and warmth that makes Florida feel like home.

Turkey Legs, Pretzels & Lemonade!

Okay, confession time: the kids and I finally tried a turkey leg! Somehow, we’d missed this iconic treat every year, but wow – it did not disappoint. It was the juiciest, most flavorful festival food we’d ever had. And of course, we couldn’t leave out our classic favorites – warm, buttery pretzels and that ridiculously refreshing fresh-squeezed lemonade. There’s just something about those simple treats that makes the whole day feel a little more magical.

Tiny Town & Holiday Candles – The Must-Dos

No Hunsader Farms trip is complete without a stop at Tiny Town. It’s silly, it’s nostalgic, and it’s one of those little things the kids just can’t get enough of. We laughed our way through each mini house, and it’s funny how this place never gets old. Plus, we grabbed our holiday candle – a must-do tradition for us! Nothing brings the coziness of fall into our home like that perfect candle from the farm.

Monster Trucks, Motorbikes & Pure Excitement

We didn’t jump on the tractor or the monster trucks this time, but the thrill of just watching is half the fun. From the growl of the engines to the cheers from the crowd, it’s a vibe. And those daredevil motorbikes – they had us all on the edge of our seats! The kids were glued to the action.

Pumpkin Picks & Fall Magic

Of course, we wrapped up our day by grabbing pumpkins. It’s one of those simple pleasures that never fails. We’re already dreaming up all the jack-o’-lantern faces we’ll be carving.

Wrapping Up a Beautiful Day

Hunsader Farms didn’t just give us another perfect family outing – it gave us a bit of normalcy, a reminder of community, and a day to let loose and enjoy each other. After the storms and uncertainty, it was the exact kind of day we needed. Here’s to making memories and finding joy in the little things, year after year.
